Se c’è una cosa difficile da fare per un fotografo è avere qualcosa di nuovo da raccontare, questa difficoltà per me è paragonabile alla musica, tutto è stato scritto, tutto è stato suonato e cantato nel migliore dei modi dai migliori artisti, musicisti, cantanti, cantautori, lo stesso vale per la fotografia. I migliori capolavori non a caso fanno parte del passato. Ora la sfida è sperimentare cose nuove rischiando di uscire da ogni “logica”, o continuare ad interpretare la propria realtà al meglio delle proprie possibilità creative, rischiando di sentirsi dire ancora: già visto, già raccontato, o peggio: “non è questo il genere che viene premiato”.  Il dubbio rimane.  Ma nel dubbio continuo per la mia strada…

If there is a hard thing to do for a photographer is to have something new to tell, this difficulty for me is comparable to the music, everything has been written, everything has been played and sung in the best way by the best artists, musicians, singers, songwriters, the same goes for photography. The best masterpieces in no case are part of the past. Now the challenge is to try new things threatening to get out of any “logic”, or continue to interpret their own reality to the best of its creative possibilities, the risk of being told again already seen, already told you, or worse, “this is not the genre that is rewarded. ” The doubt remains.
